Mr. Burke is a native of St. Bernard Parish. Mr. Burke holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration. He brings 18+ years of experience in Executive Healthcare Administration, Clinical Operations, and Business Development.
Prior to joining AMG, Mr. Burke served as COO for Landmark Hospitals, overseeing six hospitals including construction/start-up of new operations. Mr. Burke has demonstrated experience in the functional areas of Organizational Structure Creation and Implementation – Governance/Management, Financial Performance Review, Licensing and Accreditation, Medical Staff Recruitment, Managed Care Contracting Framework and Formation, Communication Education and Development, and Human Resources Management. His primary career focus has been in the Long Term Acute (LTAC) arena, and has a proven track record in the successful development, operation and turn-around of Freestanding and Hospital within a Hospital (HIH) LTAC models.
Mr. Burke joined the AMG family as Chief Operations Officer of Acadiana Management Group in June 2017. As COO, Mr. Burke is responsible for Administrative Direction, Evaluation and Coordination of functions and activities of all AMG Hospital Services within the corporate footprint, ensuring the operational objectives and results are in accord with overall corporate strategic goals and global objectives.
