Mr. Rantz was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Rantz attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington on a varsity baseball scholarship. Mr. Rantz graduated from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he served as the Senior Class President from 2004-2005, with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.). Mr. Rantz was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 2005. Prior to joining AMG full-time in 2006, Mr. Rantz practiced law with the Gachassin Law Firm, where his practice’s main focus was on state and federal healthcare regulatory compliance as well as corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Rantz has previously served as AMG’s General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer. As President, Mr. Rantz is responsible for the overall direction and operation of 11 Post-Acute Hospitals operating in 6 states.
